Come along on my journey!
2024 brought a big opportunity. I was tasked with creating art for the Keweenaw National Historical Park in Upper Michigan. Here’s my reflections on the project and the portfolio changing events of my travels to install the 4 life size sculptures.

Oh, the butterflies…an announcement.
This summer Keweenaw National Historical Park (NHP), Keweenaw NHP Advisory Commission, and Isle Royale and Keweenaw Parks Association (IRKPA) welcome Kasey Koski as the first artist to participate in our new Commissioned Artist Program. Artists help our national parks with their root mission: conservation and enjoyment. Historic records and technical drawings help preserve the nuts and bolts of a national park, while the hand of an artist will preserve the park's soul. The artist's work draws the public closer to the park's resources, so that they enjoy it on a deeper level and help to preserve it.
